Specialist waste streams

Tell us what it is before we tell you where it can go.

Every quote starts with waste type, site location, estimated volume and available classification or safety information.

02

General Waste

Convenient skips for non-hazardous everyday waste from commercial sites, workshops, offices and general clean-ups.

Plan a collection
03

Garden Waste

Skip collection for branches, leaves, grass cuttings and other green waste from landscaping and site-clearing work.

Check acceptance
04

Wash Bay Sand

Controlled collection of sand and sediment from wash bays, with the correct disposal route confirmed where contamination is present.

Scope your project

Important: acceptance is confirmed per load. Liquid waste, unclassified material and unsupported hazardous loads cannot be placed in a skip without prior approval.

Practical site logistics

One truck. Two skips. Fewer wasted trips.

Our truck can carry a skip on the hook-lift body and tow a second skip on a purpose-built trailer. For remote, high-volume or time-sensitive sites, that gives your team more collection capacity per movement.

  • Covered skips for controlled solid-waste loads
  • Planned placement on a safe, accessible hardstand
  • Single collections or scheduled rotations
  • Cape Town, Saldanha and wider Western Cape coverage

Compliance before convenience

Hazardous waste cannot take the general-waste route.

Commercial hazardous waste may require classification, WIR/IPWIS registration, testing and a City of Cape Town special-waste permit before an approved facility can accept it. We confirm the applicable route and load approval before collection—not after the skip is full.

Before you book

Useful answers for site teams.

Can I put any hazardous waste into the skip?

No. Waste must be described and accepted before delivery. Classification, packaging, moisture, contamination and the approved disposal facility can all affect whether a skip is suitable.

Do you remove asbestos from buildings?

West Coast Skips provides the skip logistics and disposal coordination for correctly prepared asbestos waste. Identification, abatement and removal must be handled by appropriately registered asbestos professionals under the current Asbestos Abatement Regulations.

Do you work outside Cape Town?

Yes. The initial service area includes Cape Town, the West Coast and wider Western Cape, including industrial and mining sites around Saldanha. Send the exact location so we can confirm access and transport costs.

What should I send for a quote?

Your site location, waste description, photos, estimated volume, preferred dates and any classification, safety data or previous disposal documents you already have.
